Now Ration card can be made in a few minutes from home. This is a new initiative from the Central Government through the One Nation - One Ration Card scheme.
Eligibility
A person over 18 years of age can apply for a ration card in the country. You should have one one ration card for one state.
How to apply
To apply for this, you can apply online by visiting the state food portal. you can download the ration card form. You need to provide the Aadhaar Card, vote card, driving license, or any ID and apply. you will have to deposit fees from 5 to 45 rupees. After the form is submitted, field verification will be done which be completed within 30 days upon verifying all details are correct along with field verification.
